Spring has sprung, and we know, the nice weather in the Triad makes you not want to sit at home but instead go out to have fun with friends and family. To help you get started looking for places and kick off our blog week, we wanted to share the best events in the Triad this week with the Beers in Your Backyard community.
Earth Day Celebration with Jade Saloon - 4/22 from 2-7 pm
Oden Brewing Company - Greensboro, NC
First up, we have Oden Brewing Co.’s Earth Day Festival. This celebration is a great way to go out and enjoy Earth Day! At the event, the Fresh AF Vegan food truck will be there until 4 pm, and the Taco Bros food truck will be there until 9 pm. Along with amazing food, you can pair your afternoon with a Deliberate Disregard Blonde Ale (4.9% ABV), live music, plant vendors, and music bingo! Additionally, this event will be hosting water walking competitions, and proceeds from the event will be donated to Charity Water.
Earth Day Pop-Up Market - 4/22 from 2-6 pm
Brown Truck Brewery - High Point, NC
If you are looking for something to do a little closer to High Point for Earth Day, Brown Truck Brewery is hosting an Earth Day Pop-Up Market this weekend as well! Local businesses will be set up at the brewery at the event so you can sip on your No. 10 American Light Lager while shopping around and enjoying the outdoors.
Food and Flow Yoga - 4/23 at 10 am
SouthEnd Brewing Co. - Greensboro, NC
Nothing like starting your day with a good yoga session. SouthEnd Brewing Co. hosts its Food and Flow yoga series every Sunday at 10 am, perfect for your Earth Day weekend. Hosted by an integrative dietitian and yoga instructor, Sheri Vettel, this event is meant for anyone, whether you are a beginner or an expert. It is designed with relaxation in mind and helps you stretch out to start your week off right. Plus, each ticket comes with a mimosa!
TEDFEST II - 4/22 from 3-11 pm
Joymongers Brewing - Greensboro, NC
Join Joymongers Brewing for a rock and roll evening featuring a night of unforgettable performances. Thanks to the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society, classic rock and blues performers will include Johnny O and the Jump Boys, The Mighty Fairlanes, The B-Sides, and Wristband. Joymongers will also accept contributions to the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society at the event.
Cancer Services Fundraiser - 4/23 from 2-7 pm
Kernersville Brewing Co. - Kernersville, NC
Finally, the last event we suggest you check out this weekend is the Kernersville Brewing Co. Cancer Services Fundraiser. This event will feature food trucks, live music, and vendors from 12-4 pm, with music bingo going on from 5-7 pm. With this event, the brewery will donate a dollar to Cancer Services for every beer sold!
